Introductory Letter
Dear Reader::
Witches can fly. Wait... maybe not. Maybe it was all just a myth. Maybe they actually did fly on brooms in the sky and cackle loudly. Or maybe they stayed in their houses all day and made potions. Or maybe they were making treatments for diseases like ointments or antibiotics. Doing my research for this project, I found out more about the Salem Witch Trials, different theories, and if witches lived up to be what they went down in history for. Witches are human just like everyone else, they were just a little “special.” On my website, I’ve wrote about the Salem Witch Trials, Tituba, a Diary, and some theories about if witches could actually fly. I also created my own potion about healing. Witches were accused even if they didn’t do anything bad which was the bad part. It was so racist back then too, so in Tituba’s case, she was a black slave who was accused of witchcraft, and her trial was even worse just because she was black. Learning about witches was very interesting, and I still don’t have an opinion on if they were real or not, or if they could fly or not. There were so many theories about both sides that made me believe both. That is what is cool about my website, you can go into it thinking of either way, and come out thinking a different way. I hope you enjoy the information. Jordan |
